Excellent question.

We typically book what most people would call "Contemporary Folk". Singer/Songwriter stuff. We also like acoustic blues, celtic influenced tunes etc. You know, American acoustic music. We're pretty typical of the northeast folk music scene. Here's one definition that we like: "Folk music is the soundtrack of the examined life played on instruments you can bring on a camping trip."

So if you like the idea of camping in front of 100 or so people and examining your life and the lives of those around you in song, keep reading.

We only put on 7 or 8 shows per year. 9 tops.

Dates are booked up to one year in advance, although there's always that one date that doesn't get filled until a few months before. Drives us nuts...

We see part of our mission as helping to develop the next generation of folk headliners.

We also see ourselves as being at the outlying borders of the Northeastern Folk Scene and we're working to secure and expand those borders. Manifest Destiny etc.

The list of people we'd LOVE to book is very, very long.

Please understand that we're here to create gigs for artists, not turn artists away. One only gets involved in putting on this sort of thing if one is a big fan of the music and the people who make it.

We do take requests and recommendations for specific artists from the people who attend our shows very seriously.

A link to an EPK emailed out of the blue isn't enough, sorry. It's not that we don't want to book you, it's just that we need more than that. A link to an EPK is part of what you send after you're booked.

If you send us a CD, we promise we'll listen to it.
